Stagger is an Uber Research and Design Center located in San Franciso, California, and is used for the creation of semi-autonomous e-scooters. With this information in mind, the design of Stagger is equipped with both makerspaces, as well as office space. Views to the surrounding city as well as natural daylight are a large focus in the design of Stagger.

Outdoor spaces used for lounging and solo work give employees a way to stay connected to nature while on the job, and a double height staircase in the lobby opens up light throughout the entrance. A boxy, push and pull movement was my inspiration for the facade, hence the name Stagger.
