Throughout the summers of 2017 and 2018, I interned at Madison Lane Interiors, in Joplin, Missouri. My tasks included meeting with clients, assisting in the selection of fabrics, furniture, home accessories, and tiles. I accompanied the owner, Amber Sachetta, to tile stores and worked with specialists to help choose materials for clients. One of our biggest projects was a new home under construction.

It was a one-story 5,000 square foot French country home alongside a golf course. I assisted Amber with material selection and layout of furniture. I also assisted in the unboxing of furniture and staging it for the client. That project took place over the summers of 2017 and 2018. I still assist when needed at the shop, taking messages, directing customers to fabric and wallpaper samples, selling merchandise and redesigning displays.
